Le Nexus is a polymorphic space dedicated to Polkadot, web3 companies and digital nomads, a hub to emulate community cohesion, support builders, drive adoption, and ****facilitate business development activities.

The goal is to strengthen Polkadot's presence in Europe by leveraging France's Web3 ecosystem and its leadership in blockchain regulation alike many other industry giants such as Coinbase or Circle.

It’s a coworking space, a polkadot ‘café’, a place for digital nomads, an headquarters for the community and a self-filling event bounty driven by ecosystem agents.

Located right in the heart of Paris and fuelled by a for-profit coworking space and working café, we plan to make Le Nexus self-sustainable and able to fund as many as possible non-profit activities dedicated to Polkadot on a permanent basis. This proposal intends to explain in detail the grant request: sufficient funding to bootstrap the project until profitability, expected after 10 to 18 months of activity.

Statement

This initiative, reflecting our wishes as builders and tokenholders, is an attempt to anchor our network in the real world, support builders that want to serve people and be a permanent outpost dedicated to nourish, evangelize and protect Polkadot’s core values.

We see ourselves as a group of committed, ethical pioneers who want to drive talents and promote our ecosystem to accelerate Polkadot's growth in Europe and be a voice for decentralization in front of the European regulator and policy makers.

We at Nexus are uniquely positioned to lead an initiative that leverages Europe's clear regulatory framework. Our deep community roots, recognised legitimacy in the European market and our alignment with Polkadot's vision make us the ideal coordinators for this ambitious project.

Our proposal to position Le Nexus as a premier hacker space for Polkadot projects in Europe will serve as a relay for the community, demonstrating how decentralized technologies can flourish. We want it to become the symbol of Polkadot’s leadership, innovation, and commitment to web3 values that we hold dear. We want to build together the future where blockchain technology is internationally trusted and universally adopted.
